What is your favorite ring tone?

mobile phone ringing of any kind is always annoying and ususally unnecessary. my phone is always set to vibrate.

now i've had woman friends say, 'yes, but i don't always have a pants pocket to hold my phone.' fair enough, you can put your ringer on. but if you step away from your phone - say far enough away that you can't hear it ringing - please set your ringer to silent mode. nobody wants to hear it, no matter how clever the ringtone is.

What's up?

This morning I did the Mt. Tam Hill Climb (a bike race). I spent the afternoon playing bocce and drinking canned beer in GG park. This was good & made me feel younger. Tonight I'm having dinner with my wife, her parents, her sister, her sister's boyfriend, and her sister's boyfriend's teenage daughter. Not sure how this will make me feel.

They're coming to our place. I made the really good guacamole.

What's your motto?

I don't have a motto (do people really have mottos?) But this guy I ride bikes with likes to say, "Keep it in the big ring." I suppose those are words to live by.
